As part of the lead up to Rugby World Cup in New Zealand later this year, Japan played an Australian Barbarians side at Wests Bulldogs in Toowong, Brisbane
Japan ran out 24 - 10 winners, but the Barbarians team played some exciting rugby, and gave the Japan side valuable game-time ahead of their clash with the Wallaroos on Tuesday night.
No. 8 Grace Kemp and Fullback Lilyann Mason-Spice were outstanding for the Barbarians
Japan 24 (Tries: Bogidraumainadave, Hosokawa, Komaki; Conv: Yasuo 1, Imakugi 1) defeated Australian Barbarians 10 (Tries Bird, Wilkes)
