AON Uni7s Regional Round 2 (QLD) were held at Surfers Paradise Rugby Club, on the Gold Coast.
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions in Queensland, the format was re-worked, with the Aussie7s Olympic team players staying in NSW, along with University of Melbourne and University of Adelaide teams.
Bond Uni continued their unbeaten record for the Gold Coast leg, defeating Griffith Uni in the final to claim the Round title. Griffith Uni won the Regional Champions title with a 1st in Brisbane, and a 2nd on the Gold Coast, from Bond (3rd & 1st) and UQ (2nd and 3rd)
